!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well here we go, I'm finally getting this thing written.

Let's see, the trip down there went pretty much as planned so I'm not going to dwell on that, except that the plane ride was pretty sweet, since that was my first time flying commercially, though it took like two days after getting back for my ears to finally pop. Anyways, I'll just tell a few random stories about stuff that happened down there. So yeah...

I was at Robledo this year, and it is the roughest of the three churches that we go to. But even so, we only had a couple minor incidents involving the gangs, and after the first day or two some of the members actually started helping us out by telling us when the worst of the gang members came nearby and they watched the RV's for us when we drove off to make sure none of the little kids jumped on. So that whole thing ended up being a blessing.

I had my birthday on Sunday, which was our first full day in Mexico, and I, along with a couple other people who had birthday's while there, ended up getting sung to atleast three times through out the week. Caren Moody and some other people(I"m don't know who all was in on it) got together and ended up getting me a cake, which was sweet. Literally. But probably my favorite birthday experience was at the Robeldo church itself. I was in front getting ready to do the songs, when Illeana(our translator) put her hand on my shoulder and starts talking to all the kids in Spanish, so I'm standing there trying to figure out what she's telling them. But then they all started singing Felic Cumpleanos, which I knew has Happy Birthday. Illeana also told me at that point that she had told them it was my birthday. So that was purrty cool.

Another random story--it was one of those times where we're just screwing around with kids and several of the little boys decided they all wanted to gang up on me. So consequently, I got knocked down and dogpiled by probably 15 kids. After I was finally able to get back up, they all trying knocking me down again, but this time one or two of the older mexican guys there joined in. But at that point some of my own peeps stepped in to help me, finally.

Well, that's all the stories I can think of from Mexico, so jumping to disneyland. It was pretty much just long line after long line after really long line. So yeah, that's pretty much just a been there done that, but don't really want to do it again type a thing.

We got back into O'Neill at like 11:30 or so that Saturday night, so it wasn't too terribly late. Overall, I"m really glad I went and I can't wait till I can go back next year.(Don't worry I will get my letter out here sometime soon, and I can probably guarentee it'll be sooner than Dave got them out!)

Cinderella
Well since the musical is already passed now too I just as well talk about that here too. So anyways, obviously we performed the musical Cinderella. We did a matinee and two evening public performances. It kinda stunk though that our matinee performance was probably the best live one that we did, since it went pretty much completly as planned but the two evening performances both had a few messups. But I don't think the crowed noticed them too much, so it's all good. Anyways, I played the role of a footmen, which meant i just kinda stood there and said about two lines through out the performance.

Well anyways, as with pretty much everything else, it's really nice that's it's over, but i can't wait till next years musical.
